Livestream Terms, Community Guidelines & Recording Policy

These Livestream Terms, Community Guidelines & Recording Policy (“Livestream Terms”) govern participation in livestreams, webinars, virtual conferences, online panel discussions, interviews, workshops, presentations, question-and-answer sessions and other live or recorded digital events made available by NRI Investment Expo by NRI Nivesh (“NRI Investment Expo”, “we”, “us”, “our” or “Platform”).

These Livestream Terms apply to persons who access or participate in an event as viewers, registered attendees, chat participants, speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, presenters, moderators, panellists or participants using audio or video functionality.

These Livestream Terms supplement and should be read together with our:

• Terms & Conditions
• Privacy Policy
• Cookie Policy
• Financial Services Disclaimer & Risk Disclosure
• Data Retention Policy
• Delete My Data Policy; and

other applicable policies and notices displayed on the Platform.

By accessing or participating in a livestream or digital event, you agree to comply with these Livestream Terms.

Livestreams and digital events hosted or made available through the Platform may contain educational, informational, market, financial, investment, taxation, real-estate, banking, insurance, immigration or other content.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, such content is provided for general educational and informational purposes only.

Nothing communicated during an event constitutes:

• investment advice
• financial advice
• investment research
• a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security
• portfolio management
• tax advice
• legal advice
• insurance advice
• lending advice
• real-estate advice
• immigration advice
• personalised financial planning; or

any other professional or personalised advice.

NRI Investment Expo does not undertake suitability assessments of viewers or participants.

Users should independently evaluate any product or service and obtain appropriate professional advice before making financial, legal, tax, investment, property, insurance, lending or immigration decisions.

Livestreams may feature speakers, exhibitors, sponsors, developers, financial institutions, insurers, banks, investment managers, service providers or other third parties.

The views, opinions, statements, representations and information expressed by such persons are their own unless expressly stated otherwise.

Participation in an NRI Investment Expo event does not constitute an endorsement, recommendation, certification, verification or guarantee by NRI Investment Expo of:

• any speaker
• exhibitor
• sponsor
• financial institution
• product
• investment
• property
• insurance policy
• loan
• banking service
• immigration service; or

other third-party service.

Users should independently verify material information with the relevant provider before relying upon it.

Certain events may require registration before access is granted.

Where registration is required, participants must provide accurate and current information.

We may refuse, restrict or revoke access where reasonably necessary for:

• security
• fraud prevention
• technical reasons
• regulatory compliance
• violation of these Terms
• violation of applicable law; or

maintaining the safety and orderly operation of the event.

Registration does not necessarily guarantee access where attendance is limited or where an event is modified, postponed or cancelled.

The Platform's livestreams are intended primarily for persons who are 18 years of age or older.

Persons under 18 should participate only with the knowledge, supervision and consent of a parent or lawful guardian and where such participation is permitted by applicable law.

We do not knowingly seek to collect unnecessary personal information from children.

Participants must conduct themselves respectfully and lawfully.

Participants must:

• communicate respectfully
• follow reasonable moderator instructions
• keep questions and comments relevant to the event
• respect other participants
• avoid disruptive behaviour
• respect intellectual-property rights
• avoid disclosing confidential information
• comply with applicable law; and

use the Platform only for its intended purposes.

Participants must not use the Platform or livestream functionality to:

• harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate or abuse another person
• post hateful, discriminatory, sexually explicit or obscene material
• impersonate another individual, company, organisation or authority
• publish defamatory or knowingly false statements
• distribute spam, unsolicited advertising or promotional material
• promote unrelated products or services without permission
• post malicious software, harmful links or other security threats
• attempt to disrupt, overload or interfere with the Platform
• attempt to gain unauthorised access to another user's account or information
• disclose another person's private or confidential information
• post passwords, OTPs, bank-account credentials or other authentication information
• upload or transmit content that infringes another person's intellectual-property rights
• facilitate or promote unlawful activities
• manipulate or interfere with polls, questions, chat or other interactive functionality
• engage in fraudulent, deceptive or misleading conduct
• use the event to solicit investments or financial transactions in an unauthorised manner; or

otherwise misuse the Platform or livestream.

Where live chat is enabled, participants acknowledge that chat messages may be visible to other participants, moderators and authorised Platform personnel.

Participants should not post:

• passwords
• OTPs
• bank-account details
• card details
• investment-account credentials
• government identification numbers
• KYC documents
• confidential business information
• medical information; or

other sensitive personal information.

Participants are responsible for the information they voluntarily disclose through chat.

Chat functionality may be moderated, restricted, suspended or disabled at any time.

NRI Investment Expo may use moderators and reasonable technical controls to maintain a safe, lawful and orderly environment.

We may, at our discretion and subject to applicable law:

• review chat messages
• remove or hide comments
• mute participants
• restrict participation
• disable chat
• restrict the ability to submit questions
• remove participants from an event
• suspend access
• permanently restrict future participation; or

report potentially unlawful conduct to appropriate authorities where required or reasonably necessary.

We are not required to publish or respond to every question or comment.

Questions, comments, polls, feedback and other voluntary submissions may be:

• reviewed by moderators
• moderated
• rejected
• edited for clarity, length or formatting
• combined with similar questions
• answered anonymously
• displayed during the event; or

used in subsequent educational or event-related materials, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.

Submission of a question or comment does not guarantee that it will be answered or displayed.

Participants should ensure that their submissions do not contain confidential, proprietary or sensitive information that they do not wish to disclose.

NRI Investment Expo may record livestreams and digital events.

Recordings may include, where applicable:

• speakers
• exhibitors
• presenters
• moderators
• panellists
• presentation materials
• screen-sharing
• audio
• video
• questions
• comments
• chat messages
• polls; and

other content intentionally made available during the event.

Recordings may be retained and used by NRI Investment Expo for legitimate business, operational, educational, archival, compliance, promotional and event-related purposes, subject to applicable law and the Platform's Privacy Policy.

A person who merely watches a livestream without submitting content or enabling their camera or microphone will generally not appear visually or audibly in the recording solely by viewing the event.

However, technical information relating to access to the Platform may be processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Participants should review the applicable privacy notices before participating.

Where a participant voluntarily submits a question, comment or other contribution through a publicly visible event feature, that contribution may be visible to other participants and may be captured in the event recording or event-related materials.

By submitting such content, you acknowledge this possibility.

Where required by applicable law, we will rely on an appropriate consent or other lawful basis for such processing and use.

Participants should not submit information that they do not wish to become publicly visible or incorporated into event-related materials.

Certain events may allow participants to voluntarily join a stage, panel, discussion or interactive session using their camera and/or microphone.

Before enabling audio or video, participants may be presented with a separate notice requesting confirmation.

By voluntarily enabling audio or video and joining the stage, the participant acknowledges that:

• their appearance may be visible to other attendees
• their voice may be audible to other attendees
• their participation may be recorded
• their participation may appear in the event recording; and

the recording may be used in accordance with the applicable consent notice, these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

Participants should ensure that their background and surroundings do not contain information that they do not wish to disclose.

Where a participant voluntarily contributes content through the Platform, including questions, comments, statements, audio or video, NRI Investment Expo may retain and use such content to the extent permitted by applicable law and the consent provided by the participant.

Such use may include:

• operating the event
• displaying the contribution during the event
• creating event recordings
• creating transcripts
• creating subtitles
• creating summaries
• creating educational materials
• maintaining event archives
• promoting the event or Platform; and

documenting event activities.

Where a particular use requires separate consent under applicable law, NRI Investment Expo will seek that consent separately.

Participants retain ownership of intellectual property they lawfully own in content they submit.

However, by submitting content to the Platform, participants grant NRI Investment Expo a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence, to the extent legally permissible, to host, reproduce, display, distribute, communicate, archive and otherwise use that content for the purposes for which it was submitted and for legitimate operation, documentation and promotion of the Platform and event.

Participants represent that they have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the content.

Participants must not submit content that infringes the rights of another person.

Speakers, exhibitors, sponsors and presenters may provide presentations, videos, images, documents, logos, trademarks and other materials.

Each speaker, exhibitor, sponsor and presenter is responsible for ensuring that it has the necessary rights, licences and permissions to provide and display its materials.

NRI Investment Expo may require a speaker, exhibitor or presenter to remove or replace content where we reasonably believe that the content:

• infringes third-party rights
• violates applicable law
• breaches Platform policies; or

creates a material legal, regulatory or reputational risk.

Separate agreements may apply to speakers, exhibitors and sponsors.

Speakers and exhibitors remain responsible for statements and representations made by them during an event.

NRI Investment Expo does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or suitability of third-party statements.

Where financial products or regulated services are discussed, the relevant speaker, exhibitor or service provider remains responsible for complying with applicable regulatory requirements and providing legally required disclosures.

Where a livestream discusses financial products, investments, securities, mutual funds, PMS, AIFs, insurance, loans, banking products, bonds, GIFT City products or other financial services, users should also read the Platform's Financial Services Disclaimer & Risk Disclosure.

Information presented during a livestream should not be treated as personalised financial or investment advice.

Financial products may involve substantial risk, including loss of capital.

NRI Investment Expo does not guarantee that:

• every advertised speaker will appear
• every question will be answered
• information presented will remain current
• a particular session will remain available
• an event will start at the advertised time
• an event will remain uninterrupted; or

a recording will be available indefinitely.

Schedules, speakers and event formats may change.

Livestreams may be affected by:

• internet connectivity
• hosting failures
• software errors
• hardware failures
• third-party service outages
• cyber incidents
• maintenance
• power failures
• bandwidth limitations; or

circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

NRI Investment Expo does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free or continuous access to any livestream.

NRI Investment Expo reserves the right to postpone, reschedule, modify, suspend or cancel an event where reasonably necessary, including due to:

• technical issues
• security concerns
• regulatory requirements
• speaker availability
• operational circumstances
• force majeure events; or

other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Where reasonably practicable, material changes may be communicated through the Platform or available contact information.

Livestreams or embedded content may use third-party technology and service providers.

These may include, depending on the event:

• video-streaming providers
• hosting providers
• communications platforms
• analytics providers
• security providers; and

other technology providers.

Use of third-party services may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies and technical limitations.

NRI Investment Expo does not control the independent practices of third-party platforms.

Personal information collected in connection with livestream registration, participation, chat, appointment requests or other Platform activities will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

Participants should understand that information voluntarily disclosed in public or semi-public event features may be visible to other participants.

Do not disclose sensitive personal information through chat, comments or live discussions.

NRI Investment Expo reserves the right to take reasonable action where content or conduct creates a risk to:

• participant safety
• privacy
• security
• intellectual property
• legal compliance
• regulatory compliance
• Platform integrity; or

the orderly operation of an event.

Actions may be taken without prior notice where immediate action is reasonably necessary.

Participants may report abusive, unlawful or inappropriate conduct to the Platform using the designated contact mechanism.

Reports should include sufficient information to allow the matter to be reviewed.

NRI Investment Expo may investigate reports and take appropriate action based on the circumstances.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, participants should not assume that questions, comments or contributions submitted through public or interactive event features are confidential.

Participants should avoid disclosing:

• trade secrets
• confidential business information
• private financial information
• account credentials
• identity documents; or

other information that they do not wish to disclose publicly.

Each participant is responsible for:

• their own conduct
• the accuracy of information they voluntarily submit
• the legality of their contributions
• maintaining the security of their device and connection
• ensuring that their participation does not infringe third-party rights; and

complying with applicable law.

Participation in a livestream does not create a professional, advisory, fiduciary, agency, broker-client, adviser-client or other professional relationship between NRI Investment Expo and a participant.

Any subsequent professional relationship formed between a participant and an exhibitor, speaker or other third party is separate from the livestream.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, NRI Investment Expo shall not be responsible for losses or consequences arising from:

• interruption or unavailability of a livestream
• technical failures
• connectivity issues
• third-party platform failures
• statements made by speakers or exhibitors
• user-generated content
• reliance on educational or informational content
• decisions made by participants
• unauthorised disclosure of information by a participant
• third-party conduct; or

events beyond NRI Investment Expo's reasonable control.

Nothing in these Livestream Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.

Nothing in these Livestream Terms is intended to:

• waive any statutory rights
• exclude liability that cannot legally be excluded
• override mandatory legal requirements; or

restrict any remedy that cannot lawfully be restricted.

Where applicable law provides a higher level of protection, that law shall prevail.

If a participant breaches these Livestream Terms or applicable law, NRI Investment Expo may take appropriate action, including:

• issuing a warning
• removing content
• muting the participant
• restricting chat
• removing the participant from the event
• suspending access
• restricting participation in future events; or

reporting unlawful conduct to the appropriate authorities where required or reasonably necessary.

NRI Investment Expo may update these Livestream Terms from time to time to reflect:

• changes in law
• regulatory requirements
• technology
• Platform functionality
• event operations; or

business practices.

The updated version will be published on the Platform with the revised “Last Updated” date.

These Livestream Terms shall be governed by the laws applicable in India.

Subject to any mandatory rights or remedies available to users under applicable law, courts having jurisdiction in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India shall have jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Livestream Terms or participation in an NRI Investment Expo livestream.

By accessing or participating in an NRI Investment Expo livestream, you acknowledge that you have had an opportunity to review these Livestream Terms and agree to comply with them.

Where a separate consent is required for recording, audio/video participation, marketing use or another specific processing activity, the applicable consent will be obtained separately through the relevant notice or interface.
